Best and worst polar vehicle
Thank you all for the information.
I think I will redo the Snow Cruiser using the Paperdiorama model that Tappi sent because it is the simpler with fewer pieces, and it contain the plane (and easier to reduce to 1/400). And thank you very much for the site that contains the Sno Cat. In the mean time, here are the worst and the best polar vehicles. Of course the best is the all terrain, high endurance, flying Santa's sled! Last edited by wireandpaper; 12-15-2021 at 05:09 PM. |

Hi All,
And hi, wireandpaper. I just submitted a post in my Vintage Model Retrospective thread that describes the Antarctic Snow Cruiser as published by the French firm of Le Pélican Blanc. This model was earlier mentioned by Rob Tauxe, aka, papermodelfan, in this thread, above. My post can be found here: Vintage Model Retrospective I thought you and other interested members might like to take a look. All the best, Score and fold, Thumb Dog |

Dear Thumb Dog, as always very helpful.
I am very surprised by this version in "ice blue" and very detail Stagger Wing! Not totally accurate but a nice model. And the touch of the crew in skies. Very touching. HAPPY NEW YER TO ALLL!!!!!!!!! |
