Hello from Kaliningrad, Russia

Hello!

I'm from Kaliningrad, Russia (formerly Koenigsperg, East Prussia - Ostpreussen, the territory related to Germany before WWII and 1945 gone to the Soviets).

I joined the modellers community a few days ago but I found of scale modelling a plenty of years. Permanently, my specialization is constructing copies of civil cars, vans and trucks (scale 1:30).

I'm a bit conservative, don't use CAD software for my projects, and prefer pencil blueprints. But I use sideview photos of sufficient resolution.

Time by time, this hobby faded out, because of lots of reasons. In spite of my long-running hobby, I was never tried to see what similar others make. But what I have found occasionly in the web, was really surprised me. And I decided to go on, to improve my technique and to refill my collection.

Here below I applied a demo photo from my modercars gallery. Totally I have nowadays over 40 modelcars of various degree of accuracy and detalization (as you see, it's yet not so high).

By the way, I would ask admins, would I be allowed, to place my own gallery links to my posts?

RE: Jaska, what about the POBEDA (the '1946 GAZ M20).
see you, I'm yet not ready to construct more difficult models. All I can do construct now is 70-80-90-'s. But I want to go on (into the past), but it has to take a little time and a lot of patience.
