Hello from Holland!

Hello All!

Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself as well. I'm a Brit, living and working in Holland. I've always been a keen modeller, and many years ago was very much into plastic scale models. Now my main interest is radio controlled helicopters, but I wan't something else to occupy my spare time during the winter months when the helis are grounded.

Card models intrigued me, and the amazing models I've seen here inspired me, so I thought I would give it a go!

All and any advice would me most welcome! Including any recommendations for a good beginners model - my main areas of interest are aircraft from between the wars and WWII.

Thanks!
Gary

Hello Gary,

Welcome aboard and I hope you will enjoy your stay overhere, at this moment I cannot provide you with advise as I'm only starting with this medium myself.

But as you already may have noticed, when you take a look around the forum you will see some beautiful and interesting things.

Ciao,
Alvaro

Hello from So. California. Welcome to the site.

I agree with Billy. Fiddler's Green models are a great place to start. They're relatively simple and there are a lot of them. Chris's site is also top-notch, and has some great buys. Check out some of AirDave's models, too.

If you build something, and have the ability to take digital photos, please post them in the Aviation Forum. We'd all love to see your work.
