hello from the uk

been lurking on this site for a while then decided I'd join up. used to make quite a few model kits a few years ago but wandered off doing other things, now the pull of card models has become too strong to resist.

Welcome Mate

These darn Brits are getting everywhere! Oh wait! <scrub that> lol

A very warm welcome indeed mate. Like most of us we "lurk" around and the join and then actually decide to build something. On occasion we are even known to finish work as well - My Gee Bee is a good example of a half built model. lol

Anyhoo all the best and look forward to seeing you around.

Cheers
Jim

Thanks guys. built a few star trek models and other sci fi ones. Unfortunatly the other half requested a clear out of the garage where they were stored in a little box (well actually quite a large box) and they were accidently tossed. mind you the beauty of card models is that at least I have the files on a hard drive some where.

there is one model i'd like to find that's one of the enterprise c

got about 3 - 4 inches of snow, it's horrible, cold and iffy to cycle in.
