New To Card Modelling
Hi, I'm Paul and I've been making models for some time but had never heard of card/paper modelling until I purchased a cd of some boat plans and also found some card model plans on the same disk. now I am hooked.

You sound like so many of us. I new about paper modeling but thought it was nothing more than making a paper airplane. Boy was I wrong. The skill and standard of what is made with paper is just incredible.

Welcome aboard to the USS Paper Asylum at papermodelers. This hobby, be forewarned is very addictive. Once you start building and see how the models are made, the next step will be scratchbuilding on existing models and eventually to designing your own. Enjoy, watch out for the paper cuts (They tend to mar the surface, but makes good weathering) and see you around the forums.
OH yes, by the way.... Merry Christmas.
