Hey Folks!
Mr. Hawley here, I've been building all sorts of models for many years but only recently discovered papercraft when I was building some terrain for a role-playing-game. Since then I've become fascinated at the sheer variety and intricacy of some of the models out there.

It was a welcome refresher of a hobby I've loved because plastic model glue was starting to give me headaches every time I used it.

So now I get to model away without some of the nasty chemicals I used to use.

Welcome to the Forum. You will find the people on the forum will
assist you in your modeling in paper and your skills will increase
as you assemble the models. Looking forward to any build threads
when you feel comfortable with sharing your models with us. There
are many down loadable models in the downloads section of the
forum that you may give a try to get you started....Ron

Hello and welcome. Trust me paper modeling will give you a headache once in a while too. lol

I was also a plastic modeler but it was the cost of the kits that gave me the headache. As I was not good at plastic, if I made a mistake I was done for. with paper it is a matter of printing out a new piece and away you go.

If you check out the video of my workshop on my signature you can see that most of my plastic modeling gear is still there and used for paper modeling.
