New member from the Philippines
Just want to say hi to everybody and let all know that there are paper modelers (um, i know of one) in the Philippines. All my material are bought through the internet since there are no paper models sold here. I hope to learn from all of you and contribute in the process whenever I can. Good to be here!!!

Welcome to the forum. Sadly it's true that many models we find
available here in the States or in Europe are almost unattainable in many parts of the world. We have many models in the download section you may want to try. Looking forward to any contributions and model builds you would like share with us.....Ron |

Hi Inaki!
What kind of models are you interested in? RE: Availability of printed kits vs e-kits. I share you pains, my friend. I got hooked on this hobby back in '98. Back then, the only e-kits I could buy were the ones sold by Dr. Zarkov (Modelart). But now, there are lots of online shops that sell e-kits. And yes, there are some complex e-kits available. Eventually (hopefully....), you'll want to design your own stuff. Cheers! Eric Last edited by eric_son; 01-03-2011 at 05:48 AM. Reason: typos... |

Thanks guys. I got a bunch of paper models and i got more when papermodels.net went on sale. Most of my builds are aircraft though I tried the free models from digital navy. In my inventory I got a humvee, cessna 150, constellation, etc. the models that i finished went back to nature when the house I was renting got flooded in 2009. I wasn't able to save any of them. I am again starting with the free models from modele kartonowe --> Modele kartonowe as practice before i cut up the ones i bought. You're right Eric, I also have the free models of E. Zarkov

Welcome aboard, Inaki! No shortage of models available on the net - and there's always the local print shop if needed. Looking forward to seeing what you're building out in the islands.
