Greetings and Salutations
I came here following a link to the LS-7 shuttle that Mirco has created and have been enjoying the other models. I particularly liked the build of Saratoga (I was on Forrestal from 1986-1990), and am looking forward to Mirco's version of Serenity when it is completed.

Greetings Larry, and welcome to the forums.
You'll find the group around here is friendlier usually than on the Forrestfire, er... I mean Forrestal. There are plenty of models and chatter around here to keep you busy a while.

G'day All.
I am Lou Butcher, ex Australian Navy and I am interested in ship modeling, especially paper/card models. I wish to construct a half block model of a ship that I served on for over 8 years. I would like to know a bit more on the subject of Card Models. Thanks

Welcome to the board Larry.
I'm relatively new here myself, having gotten here via a link to Mirco's said Serenity model. There's a lot of stuff to look at, I've been here hours every day since I joined, and I've barely touched the forums... Have fun, and hope to see you around.
