Talking Greetings and Salutations from Japan!

Hello Everyone,

I love papermodeling/krafting. Currently, I am heavy into Robotech and Battleship Yamato (the animes I loved as a kid). Papermodeling/krafting, unlike traditional modeling, allows you to modify your kit and make it your own. Needless to say, it is a lot less expensive. Currently, I am modeling Robotech and Battleship Yomota. If are working on the same projects, I would love to here from you. More to come...

I loved the Yamato series! And I envy you for being based in Japan. You probably got to watch the Yamato featured film last December.

I'd kill to see that movie. I hope the movie gets shown internationally...no need to dub. Just subtitles.

Oh..and forum he yokoso.

Hello Shugi

Fellow Macross / Robotech and Space Battleship Yamato (Captain Harlock and all) fan here.

I sort of have a LOT of things going right now. I've got some papercraft SD gundams I'm building, that I designed. I've got some new Star Trek models I just downloaded and printed today.

I'm currently in early modeling of several Zentraedi Fleet ships (to go with the Yamato I have printed out, but haven't built yet). I want to build some Meltrandi ships from Macross, DYRL, a VF-XX (Zentran Valkyrie) from Macross II, and a Ikazuchi class Cruiser from Robotech: New Generation / Mospeada.

... ah... so much to do, so little time.

Hey Eric,

I missed the Yamato movie. I'm sure I'll see it at some point. I've only been here a month, and my senses are a little overwhelmed. Being here has really gotten my creative juices flowing.

Hello Storm,

I have some pretty ambitious plans myself. I have a loose plan to build all the Robotech series mechs and vehicles. I am starting with all the mechs in the Macross Saga Episode 1. I noticed that someone was building a transformable VF-1A; I would like my first Valkyrie build (VF-1D) to be fully transformable. Ultimately, I would like to do some new Robotech models and give them to all you good, hardworking folks out there.

Hello Art,

I am ashamed to say that I haven't read the book. It just matched my persona. My chinese zodiac is the tiger, and I thought the cover would make a cool avatar. Can you give me a brief synopsis of the book?
