Hello world! All the way from South Africa...

Just wanted to say hello!

I'm new to the whole papercraft idea, started on Saturday with a Spitfire MK II (might have been a little bit difficult for a first timer, posted some pics in my gallery), and going to be completing it today.

Also started on Sunday with a "Lens Head Type-B" robot model , so far so good. Image shows the completed model (I only finished the two thighs).

Enjoy!

Welcome!

I am in JHB as well - persevere, you will enjoy card models!

I still want to make something with a local flavour - will get there eventually!

Welcome DawG, have fun here, and ya, that spitfire might be a little hard for a beginner, but you'll never know until you try.

Hey guys,

Thank you all very much!

I did not know there were so many people in SA doing papercraft .

I'm in Boksburg.

Already started with a little "local" flavour, got a few SAAF planes to build, and a SAAF T-6 Harvard, but the quality aint very nice.

May you all enjoy a wonderful day!

Hmmm... Ja, would have been easier if it had proper instructions.... And I printed it about 15% smaller than its suppose to be, but what the heck it is still lekker to build (a smaller version of) the best airplane ever made.
