New and ready to learn
Hi,
I found this forum through the yahoo space paper modelers group. I have been interested in paper models, I normally scratch build in wood, but have not really liked most of what I have seen available. Your site interested me because you have a lot of models built from paper/card that are not just glue/tab models. So, I am eager to learn methods to push the normal boundaries of paper modeling and have found the forum to do just that! Thanks for having me aboard, Ken |

Welcome!
If you scratch build from wood you already have many of the helpful tool for paper modeling. An addition one you may not know about is a computer mouse pad-used for shaping parts. This is a most helpful tool. It makes rolling tubes or making "bulges" in the paper a lot easier. Enjoy, and check out the great array of free downloads in the download section as well! CT

Welcome, Ken! Yah, paper is just another type of sheet goods so you should find it an interesting diversion. Also, paper is cheaper, makes less dust, and is much quieter ...
