Hi from Phoenix

I just joined, never having built a paper model, but I've been moving from plastic to wood. As I get older, so do the models I build. I am very impressed with what can be done with sheets of paper. Looking forward getting glue on my fingers.

Welcome, Jim! Paper is just another type of sheet goods for building. Building in paper is something like a scratch build (first, you make the parts) except you have a lot more tools to do the graphics.

Welcome to the forum. I think you will find that most modelers on the
forum have started out like you building plastic and wood models then
transitioned into paper models. If you need any help the forum members
will gladly offer their sage advice.....Ron

Welcome Jim, is that Phoenix, AZ? If so I'm just accross the street in Glendale. Know what you mean about the older I am the older the models are. Used to be into muscle cars and NASCAR and now mostly interested in brass era cars and antique tractors.
