Hi, Just joined
I learned of this Forum from a message posted by John Volker on CleverModels discussion.
I am an N scale model railroader currently without a layout. My plan is to use paper models on my next layout. I made my firrt paper "model" buildings , a motel and a gas station, for an HO layout when I was 10 or 11 years old. They were very crude, red constructuin paper with windows and doors drawn with ball point pen. My next model , when I was about 15, was more sophisticated. It was a brick meat HO packing plant based on picture of an O scale model by Frank Ellison. It was done on white paper. The doors and windows were once again drawn with ball point pen. The mortar lines were also drawn with ball point, but the individual bricks were painted with paints from a paint by number set. About 25 years latter I built a NTRAK Module, with an old west town on the edge or a dry lake. All the buildings were Fidders Green. |

Welcome! FG is a great place for a wide variety of models. Looking forward to seeing what you've built.
