Welcome, Mark! That's the beauty of working in paper - even basic models come out nicely. Let's here it for the color printers.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, I love trains.
I have already redrawn your EMD GP38-2 and did a few recolors. The older BNSF GP38-2 was done by my friend, the newer BNSF (2031 and 2032) were done by me. My friend also did the Southern Pacific GP38-2. We also lengthened your SD40-2 to a SD60-2. I am made because I lost a lot of the recolors I did. I did Amtrak, Norfolk Southern, Ontario Northland, and Canadian National.... And here are the ones I lost...........I'll redo them sometime............. I also have the SD40-2 vectored and plan on these.... Your models are great! Thank you sir!!!!!!! -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

I have an odd feeling someone will try and remove the "TEST" watermark from my train recolors so I removed them.
Sorry guys, I just had an odd feeling this morning about them. -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and to card modeling in general. I got interested as an off shoot of my main hobby - RC aircraft. I stumbled on paperairforce dot net and an currently building the P-40E he offers. It's a magnificent model, pretty complex, but has the potential to fly with the new electric brushless motors and lipo batteries. Anyway since then I've started doing some other card modeling and am really enjoying it. Can't wait to be able to download some of these models. I'm also trying to learn the technique for designing a model - there are at least 3 planes I know I want to make from card stock and try to get to fly: the Air truck, the Granger Archeopteryix, and a plane intended to be simple and a trainer for RC flyers - a good old Cessna 182 or a Cub. Anyone with advice as to how to start an accurate model (with bulkheads for strength and true airfoiling of the wings and other control surfaces) I would love to get the advice/feedback. If anyone is interested check out my build thread on RC Groups (I'll post the url later since apparently I can't yet). Thanks! Matt |
