Sagiv: Introduction

Hi Tim,

Actually I am not an original 'Brit'. I was born in Israel and married to my 'Mancunian' wife in the UK. We spend our time between the two countries.

I got this passion for Aviation and aircraft's models as a kid and while witnessing some the known wars that shocked the world in 1967 and 1973 as the Arab/Israeli conflict in the Middle East. As a kid in the 60's I used to spent hours building our Israeli Air-Force magazines paper models that were added free with each copy - there were about 60-70 models given those days and I built all of them (these are now re-engineered and retrofitted and are to be find in the site: http://www.papermodels.co.il

Then, a military service at the Israeli Air-Force followed and also Aeronautical Engineering Bs.C. degree of the Haifa Technion Israeli Institute of Technology.

Today, I am working in the IT (Information Technology) fields as software developer for commercial software.

As a hobby, I am making my way back to aircraft paper models building and am about to start my first new model which will be a 1:33 Spitfire from WW2.

I hope to upload pictures asap.

Best,
Sagiv
