Another Newby
Hi, All! I'm an absolute novice, but keen to learn. I would like to use models for my naval paintings (not 1:700th plastic stuff) and from what I've seen nothing looks better than paper/card models...awesome stuff.

Hi there! and welcome.
Interesting driver to get into card modelling, but not, I suspect unheard of. I used to know a guy - Philip Castle - one of the world's great airbrush artists. He used to make up plastic kits, spray them in silver, and then use them as a guide to his work. You might want to look him up. Best wishes Mikbew |

Where did he get the plastic models of Rita Hayworth?

I've asked myself that many times. especially as I passed on the chance to buy a very limited edition of Rita - I think it was called 'B29' - some years ago at an air show in the UK. I wish...I wish...etc.
