Welcome, and a good starter model website would also be http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/. If you sign up, you get 3 FREE models, and I know for sure that about half of the 75 models to choose from are from the early ages of aviation. And most are very easy and high quality models. Hope I helped a little bit.

welcome aboard i think in fact there is a few world war one planes in the free downloads and others as gremir says on that site and they do look nice there is also a few on a site called zio if you look in the zio contest section theres a link to the site and they really look colourful and theres even a few build threads on them ones in the contest section

A great place to start is Paper Craft - Canon CREATIVE PARK Cannon creative park they have some of the best free models out there, learn how to do it on simple models first. I have found if you start on hard models you may give up so go easy at first,Cannon offers all kinds of stuff from teddy bears to planes.....Rich
