Hello from Germany
I just want to say "Hello" to everyone here! Some of you might know me from Kartonbau.de and my "desperate" fight with the Bismarck from WHV.
After several trials with the security-system here to register (uaaaahhh... colours... I am NOT really sure with colours!!!! and a colourfull letter or number is NOT the right thing for me - but I understand the reason why you use it) I decided to register at once and not to sneek around silently  . Perhaps I have managed to be the 200th? WHEN I wish to get a welcome-present :D!Nevertheless: let us have fun here and build it up as a beutiful place for cardmodellers and friends! Frank

Welcome. I've seen you post over at Kartonbau, but I've missed the thread on the WHV Bismarck. That's a model I have sitting on the build stack (way down the list) so I'd better get my butt over there and check out your build struggles

Hi Dan! Thanks for your welcome! The Bismarck from Wilhelmshavener is a rather fair one, as you will see. In the moment I have got stuck with the 10,5 Flak, but "I am fighting with them..."

I'm just getting back into card models after quite a time off. I started the Lutjens from WHV, and am 1/2 way (give or take) done with it. I lost inspiration and started back into planes again. I'm honestly not positive if the Bismarck will make it to the top of the build stack again - and if it does, it's possible I might upgrade to a newer (Halinski?) kit - we'll see.
Good luck in your struggles! Just remember, it's a hobby so it's supposed to be fun!

Welcome Frank and good luck with the Bismarck. I'm not a ship man myself, but I would love to build that model, and a similar sized Missouri someday.
I had the same problem with the security system. Took me four tries to get it right. 8v)

Welcome, Frank! The Bismarck is definately one I would like to tackle some day. Not sure which version I will do (I think I have Maly's version)... Good luck with it and perhaps post a pic or two here!
