Another new member

I discovered this site while searching for anything on the Wrebbit Peace Tower Clock which I had bought from the local charity shop - never imagined there were so many paper models and of such detail.
I have downloaded a couple of Uhu02s wonderful models and printed off the Time Machine but one thing is puzzling me. Probably a really stupid question but I see his Aries has no gluing tabs and in some other builds (eg the Time machine) people cut them off - how do you then stick them together? surely you can't just glue the edges.

Well, in some cases you glue edges. Other times you make a gluing strip that goes under both edges, so that the edges line up.

You should check out the Time Machine Build thread.

Anyways, welcome

Thanks, thinking about it that makes perfect sense, particularly on curved surfaces where the tabs would cause a kink.
I'll have to have go while the latest clock parts are drying.
