Introducing myself...Hugh F. Mowat

Hello

My name is Hugh Mowat and I have just joined. I've built a few ship models, but have not yet tried a paper model.

More when I get my bearings...

Hugh

Welcome aboard Hugh, and don't jump in too deep at first because that is the biggest reason people quit after their first model.....

Doug's suggestion to start with a FiddlersGreen model is excellent. But even the FG models come from very basic to not for beginners..... Don't bite off more than you can chew........

Again welcome and keep us posted as to what you plan to start with and how it goes for you,

Swampfox

Hello there, let me second the comments about starting with a couple of the easier ones to get a feel for how paper works.

Welcome aboard! Browse some of the build threads for an intro, download a freebie (check our download tab or the links section), then print/score/cut/fold/bend/glue and go.

A little late but welcome all the same. This is a great little corner of the internet for paper modelers. Looking forward to seeing you around.

Cheers
Jim
