Welcome aboard! Concur with taking a look at the Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Center. You can also check our download section. The most important things about your first attempt is that it's a subject you're interested in and that it's at a reasonable level of difficulty. Also, don't forget that if you mess something up (who me?) you just print another copy and rebuild it right.

Jan Rukr has some good models at Hlavní stránka / Main site. The mech looks beyond me, but the Raven helicopter and AstroRacers were very nice builds.
