New member from NZ.
Greetings from New Zealand! I only just discovered this great site yesterday and am already excited to try my hand at some of the simpler models. Thanks one and all for making this site what it is...

Welcome to the group. Another good place for you to look is www.freepapertoys.com for a wide range of freebies to practice on.

I started with the Alan Rose Titanic. But that was in the day when card modeling in this country (United States) was relatively unknown. I then went into hibernation until 2005 when thanks to the internet I discovered it was alive and well. So I downloaded Delta 7's free Redstne rocket. That was it, been hooked ever since. If you are interested here is the link

Welcome! Browse the threads to see what can be done, and take a look at the Links section (tab, top right) for sources of models to try.
