New/Old Guy

Hi All,

After many moons of styrene building, bashing and general , I have decided to take the plunge and try my hand at paper modeling. The last time this occurred, the project got converted to a styrene scratchbuild.

For my initial foray into this medium I found a answer Models 1/200 scale IJN Akizuki purchased from Paper Models in Chicago. I hope to be learning from the posts here so I can enjoy the process.

I will post some pictures once I get started so that everyone can point and snicker.

Hi Jay,

Welcome. Were you on the never very active Eons model group? If you're the same, you will find much more going on here. This place has all kinds of great info.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Yes Whulsey, I am one in the same, nice to run into you again. I agree, the never active group is right. It was a whole lot like watching a road construction crew working, if you watch long enough, you can percieve movement but it was like the hour hand on a clock. I also agree on the amount of information available here as well as the level of activity, I have learned more going through these threads than I have in a while.
