Thumbs up Hi folks...I´am the Newbie

Hi there,

since over a year I am a member of the german kartonbau.de Forum...ugh, because I am german :D
And it´s a shame....until now, I am waiting to try my first model.
First of all I´d like to apologize, that my english is´nt that good.
If there are mistakes in my writing...sorry !!!
But now my first build is coming to sight, but I´m not really sure, which model I should build first.
My favorites are russian fighters, like the Lavochkin´s and Mig-3 for example.
But I´m also dotty about Buffalo Brewster or Polikarpov I-16.....you see, I´m reluctant, what to build fist.
I am 38 Years old, married, one daughter......and still haven´t build any paper models before:D
So, I´d like to get some international flair of cardmodeling and signed in here.
Rock on
Stephan

Welcome Vanhalen! You found a great place for help. On your first model, have a look at Fiddlersgreen Fiddlersgreen.net.. Fun downloadable paper models. They have a nicely done Mig-3 that's easy to build and looks great. Plus it's cheap! Here's the link

https://www.fiddlersgreen.net/models/Aircraft/MiG-3

They also have a Buffalo and Yak 3. Enjoy your first build. It's a fun milestone. Just a warning though, you will become addicted. :D

Stephan, I'm very glad to know that your belief in KAMI(in Japanese KAMI means both "paper" and "god") seems to be getting stronger and am looking forward to your first paper model build

Wilkommen, Stephan. Ihren English sind besser als meinen Deutsch.

Stephan,

Welcome to the forum. Meine Deutsch sind auch sehr schlecht! My wife Petra was born in Fulda (Hessen).

I visit Kartenbau often - there is so much inspiration there, especially in the Ship category.
