Greetings from just South of London.

Hi:

I've recently retired & am trying to regain the days of my youth by returning to aviation modelling.

Instead of 'traditional' plastic I thought I'd try something different - not quite sure how paper will work but I'm sure that there is plenty of advice available if nothing else!

Happy daze!

Welcome to the site.
Aviation is a particularly popular subject here. Look around and you will find a plethora of build threads and resources in regards to aircraft models from the beginning of aviation to the present and in some cases the future.

Hello there! Welcome to the site. Thanks for joining. Look around the forum, ask questions and enjoy yourself. As Doug said, there are a ton of aviation resources here. We have a large group of active aviation modelers so you should fit right in. Two subforums that should prove helpful to you are First Cuts - A Lounge and Tips and Tricks. We're glad you're here. Welcome aboard.

Dear Number Four:
Hang on to you hat paper is the way to go, Just look at Lief's 1/16 scale airplanes or Ken Wests X-15 models. Suggest start simple one pager to get used to it then tackle one with 1,000+ parts. Plus there are more aircraft models in paper than Pl**tic.
We are Biased,
Miles
