Occasional Paper Crafter
Hi everyone!
To be fair, I'll likely rarely post and probably never come up with a model of my own, but I do enjoy the craft. Just a tinkerer, mostly. I find models I like and put them together. Suggestions are heartily welcomed! Interests are varied, though I'm not too much for airplanes (at all) or paper cars (I prefer plastic or metal). If I put together ships, I prefer simpler ones. I've put together only a couple things, mostly figurines and a dinosaur. (A T-rex that a roommate put a "RAWR!" word bubble in its mouth when I wasn't looking.) Hoping to put together a Mars Rover I found. I like architecture too. It's not that I mind complicated models with a million pieces, I just have to find it really interesting, personally. That, or something about the model has to be a little different, such as moving parts or I believe I saw "chibi tanks" around. So, hello! How are you? What interesting things do you suggest? |

Welcome, take a look around; you should find lots of things to interest you. The download section here has a lot of good stuff, but I think you have to have 10 posts before you can access it. Got to keep them spambots at bay. Enjoy!!

Building papermodels is like eating peanuts.
You can't do just one. Advantages of papermodels: 1. Cost (much less than other materials). 2. Easy to fix mistakes (just print out another copy). 3. Painting is usually not needed (you may need to color the white edges). 4. Easy to hid from SWMBO (Your hard drive can conceal thousands of papermodels unlike the piles of plastic/resin/metal kits in the closet, attic and garage). I am sure that my fellow paper addicts can add to this list. |
