Hello from Las Vegas!

Hello from Las Vegas! I am a Pilot flying Cessna 208 Caravans for FedEx out of Las Vegas McCarran Airport. I also used to fly DC-3s for the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Company based out of Oakland Airport. I am hoping for find a download for the Alan Rose paper model of the DC-3.

Thanks,
James Dale Collier

By the way if you have pictures of the planes you flew post them someone might do a repaint of a plane for you to build a cookie plane might get several people interested

Welcome to the site.

If you have trouble downloading it might be because of your low post count.

I couldn't download the DC-3 from the link provided, so I ended up buying an Alan Rose DC-3 model book on eBay. I will look through my photos of the Otis Spunkmeyer planes and upload some photos. A repaint would be awesome!

Hello and welcome
Do yourself a favor, put the Rose DC-3 on a shelve when you get it. You don't want to ruin that one. Make your mistakes on the one you downloaded from here. You make a mistake, download a new one. Ahh, the beauty of downloadable kits!!!
Then one day once you get good at building Gooneynbirds take it down off the shelve and build it then. Or, just admire it for its collectibility.

I am new to paper modeling, so the suggestion to start with a downloaded model first makes a lot of sense. I would hate to ruin the Alan Rose DC-3 since it is such a nice book. I'll check out the two subforms mentioned. Thanks!
