Hi everyone

I'm otherDoc and I have come from the GN15 forum, where I amd know and David (Doc). I do recognize some of you already. I really like card and paper, but I prefer to build from printies and paper kits. This might have something to do with me not having the talent to design my own stuff. Anyhoo, I model in 1/2" scale using HO gauge track. The track scales out to about 16.5 inches or so, which makes it great for small, diesel and steam powered models of Industrial railroads. Mostly it was the British and Germans who made the real, small locomotives and cars, but the US has some steam ones, like the little Porters. Using approximately 1/2" to the foot and 1mm to the inch you can make some cool stuff and run it with cheep HO mechanics and track.
For my next post I'll show my 2 current paper models and beg for more printies, like the ones from the late Jim Snee, a fantastic paper modeler who did use this scale too.
Thanks for reading this intro.

Hello, and welcome.

As soon as you have made a few more posts you will be able to post pictures. I look forward to seeing these!

Tucked away on the Clever Models site are some nice narrow gauge models, along with their very nice buildings.

Have a look here....

Small but friendly. I'm about to try out G9. I got a circle of n-track, an old 4 wheel N switcher and one Civil War boxcar. Gunna cut and glue and paste and come up with freelance train. Card will play a big part. Prolly going to take a while. Great to meet you here too, Longvallon!
