New to Paper modeling

Hi, I am Charles from South Africa. I am new to Paper modeling. Got into it when I was looking for a deer head mask for my daughters art project. I love WW2 warbirds. So far I have built 2 models I found on Paper Replika (P51 and F4U). Have also decided to try my hand at designing a FW190 from scratch 1:32 scale. Nice to find a forum with this wealth of information.

Welcome, Charles!

Glad you found this place, there definitely is a LOT of talent here.

What kind of project exactly is your daughter doing? Sounds interesting.

Hi Glen

They had to project a contemporary art work on a mask. She selected a painting of Marylin Monroe by some Latin painter and did her take on a full size deer head mask. Very artistic.
