I was just referred to the forum at the International Paper Modelers Convention in Sterling VA. Folks there were very helpful and recommend I join this site. I look forward to sharing my work and getting help from the great folks who share and collaborate here.

Hi there Matt! Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining. What type of models interest you? Wish I lived closer so I could attend the IPMC. Seems like a good time was had by all. We're glad you're here. Welcome aboard!

I build mostly farm equipment. Tractors, combines implements and trucks. I work mostly in 1/64 scale but have built a few 1/32 and 1/43 scale models. I make my own patterns. Lots of fun and I agree about inexpensive.

Has anyone referred you yet to whulsey (Wayne Hulsey)? He's pretty much our voice in the wilderness when it comes to antique agricultural machinery and such. He's a regular here. You should drop him a private message, I imagine y'all would have a lot in common.
