Hello from Germany!

Hello!

My English is not so good, but I hope it is comprehensible.

I am a card model beginner. My first experiment is A-FRAME CABIN. I can post something, when you like it. My second expriment is a church.

Than I have a little question about scale. On a card model, I find a measure 6 ft. I think at scale 1/87 it is 21 mm. Is it right?

I have so much to learn but it is a very good part of our hobby.

All the best

Richard

6ft x 12in/ft x 25.4mm/in = 1828.8mm

1828.8mm/87 = 21mm

Jawohl. Das ist richtig.

Welcome.

Don't worry about your English - it's fine!

And the more you use it the better it will get!

Well, I'm even later to this party, so......Hi Richard. Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining. Are architectural models what interest you? Me too, although I'm trying to branch out. Do you have pictures of your work that you'd be willing to share? We love seeing the work of others. We're glad you're here. Welcome aboard!
