Thanks all for the warm welcome! I hope to learn a lot from you all. I started out building plastic WWII warships, and, though I've been converted to paper modeling, I still stick mainly to ships. Though, I do build the occasional plane-- I have a few Concordes sitting around somewhere! Most recently, I recolored and built an old Yukiyuji free model-- the "Dingyuan" (a 19th cent. Chinese ironclad). Though this may not be the most suitable place to post pictures...

Why not? We love to see pics of everyone's work and this is just about the most judgement-free place I've encountered. People may offer help or suggestions for improvement but it's all in the spirit of helping you to get better.
