I'm a hobbyist from the Republic of the Philippines and I've been an avid modeler for some time. I haven't been in touch with the hobby in ages and wanted to pick up scale models again. I took interest in card-stock papercraft because of the reduced need for painting equipment.

I'm currently finishing up my studies so I'm tight on cash and would like to try my hand at paper modelling, so I came to this forum to pick up techniques and ideas

Welcome, You have picked a low budget hobby for the most part lots of free models out there on the net. I suggest that you start with one from Canon printer web site look in our Links section of the forum they have good instructions.

I just joined here too, and you can pick up a lot of Tips by having a look at the older Threads here; some of the Links to Models may be dead, but Googling will usually find them, or by using the Wayback Machine. The Threads are rife with various Tricks and Tips, as well as in the Specifically named Forum.
