Hi!

I'm 20 and Polish-Canadian, living near Toronto.
Electrical engineering student, and I love nature.

I've been building models since I was 6, but I don't work on them as often as I'd like to. I also tend to leave some half-done.
Mostly I build Maly Modelarz, because they are the most readily available to me.
More recently I bought a bunch of Halinski and GPM kits.

I can't claim any above average builds, but I'm always hoping to get better.

Welcom aboard! I hear you on the quality of builds - I have been doing it for a few years now and am still just mediocre. Its a lot of fun though and thats what matters How about showing us a few pics of what you have done?
See ya around!

Yeah exactly.
Most models I find fun until they take shape, where they then become tedious and I stop.

I don't have too many pictures, since I don't have a digital camera. I did borrow one once, but they didn't come out too well:

Your builds look great! I've only been back in the hobby for less than a year now, but I like to think that I'm slowly learning a few tricks. Is that T-34 a Maly kit? I have an old one somewhere and if they come out looking as nice as yours, I will dig it out and build it!

Thanks!

Yeah, it is a Maly Modelarz, 7-8/1996.
They made something like 15 of them over the years, because it's from a popular TV show.

Welcome! Lot of fun to build them, but I seem to suffer from the same problem - once they start to look like what ever they are, I lose interest.... ah, all the half finished models cluttering my life!

Tell me about it! I had to throw out a bunch when they got damaged before I even finished them.

7TP eh? I have a Maly kit of that, except I ripped the turret skin and I _might_ have thrown the whole thing out, I don't remember. No idea what I was thinking, but hey, I was 10.
Here's a crummy, very out of focus 4TP from long ago

Well, since we are sharing photos, I will show a few of my 7 TP... I have hesitated to post pictures due to the fact that people will then expect me to finish it! Screwed up the fenders right off the bat, otherwise, everything is going smoothly:

These guys are what has really slowed me down!

Ah tank wheels... that's usually where I stop on tanks.
I still have a Tiger sans wheels in a box somewhere.
Those are looking really good by the way.
Whenever I see a complete tank model, it just makes me appreciate it that much more. Those plastic modelers have it easy!

It's neat that you're building the engine too. I still haven't tried one with such details except for a few where I chose to avoid them.

The fender isn't so bad. It also looks fairly fixable.

Yeah, the wheels have really bogged me down! The fender got screwed up in the laminating the two parts together - nice little wave in it. Not sure if I really want to get involved in fixing it! Plus, I have GPM's other 7 TP, so this is a practice run for the real thing! :D

I'm attaching a picture of one of the four sets of wheels... I tried to attach it on my previous post, but had all sorts of issues... This one just didn't want to be seen, but I wouldn't take no for an answer!
