Ciao dall'Italia!

Hi guys, thanks for welcoming me in the forum.
I'm an enthusiast plastic model kit in Braille Scale (1/72). Recently i have seen some papercraft ships and buildings at a contest in my town, I was struck by this hobby and I'm here to learn something about it.
Bye.

Welcome to one of the most addicting hobbies.

The first phase of the hobby is downloading more files than you could possibly build during your lifetime. The second phase is jumping into a project that you aren't ready for.

Have you selected which model you want to do first?

This is very true, you will need a large backup drive.,

Welcome to the guild. When you complete both tasks that VK set for you, you will automatically become a full fledged experienced paper modeler (or maybe even a RABID paper modeler). The hobby is total fun, interrupted with moments of sheer frustration.

You've come across a great site full of great and very helpful people.
The best advice I can give you is, run away, do not walk, run away. Forget you ever saw this site. Do not download a single kit, because once you do you'll be hooked. It's a fever. You'll need more kits, kits of stuff you have absolutely no interest in but it's free, so you MUST download it. Get many backup devices. As many as you can afford. Also, make sure you back all your files up, the devices are worthless sitting in there original packages on the shelf.
But seriously. This is a great site filed with many people that will help you in every step of building.

Where? I attended with some models in some exhibitions. Maybe we crossed without knowing it?

Dove? Ho partecipato con qualche modello ad alcune mostre. Forse ci siamo incrociati senza saperlo?

Best, Nando
