Hi from Mark in Colorado
I've been a plastic glue kit modeler for decades but am new to paper modeling. So there will be a few beginner questions for the group. I'm a retired USAF MSgt now working as a civil servant in Colorado. I learned about the group from eCard where I purchased some PDF of airplanes and space kits. Looking forward to learning this new skill and saving some money compared to plastic kit models. Budget is a factor these days.

Welcome aboard. The only big cost here is the printer ink!

Hello and welcome. This is without a doubt the greatest site for paper modeling.
The people here are friendly and most helpful. You don't have to worry if you mess up, just print another kit and start over again. Try that with plastic. I too was a long time plastic kit builder. I've made the switch over and although I still, on very rare occasions, buy a plastic kit, 99% of all my kits are paper now. |
