Hello from the UK.
I'm a bit late posting here. I joined two weeks ago, I'm still finding my way around. I'm really impressed with everyone's work and knowledge a really good forum and helpful admin. I live slap bang in the centre of the UK as far from the sea as we can get so I find ships and boats especially interesting.

I'm some way south of you - we live near Gatwick - far enough not to hear the planes!

keep an eye on the exhibitions section - there are a few shows that various UK modellers take models to during the year.
