Hello and welcome!
Nice work on your first paper model! I visited Madison 10 years ago when I went to the States. I remember there was a big cheese store with all kinds of cheeses even a chocolate one. Had a blast!

Looks really good. I had built four or five planes before I came up with one that was marginally acceptable, and here you go with a great build from the start.

Hello, and welcome. For a first attempt that aircraft is looking pretty darn good. Without a doubt this site is the place to be for anything paper model related. Even if you don't see what your looking for, just ask, someone will have knowledge of whatever it is your looking for. Happy modeling!

Oshkosh, huh. I have a model of Jesse's M-ATV sitting in a financial advisor's office up there. Jason has quite a few retirees in his client base, so I made it for him.

A lot of models from European designers are laid out on A4-size paper which is slightly bigger than our US letter paper. Downsizing a 1/33 model to print at 94% gives you a scale very close to 1/35 and it all fits on letter-size sheets. The other option is to print at 100% on legal-size cardstock. That usually works, depending on your printer's margins. I grew up in Madison and it's still one of my favorite places. Check out the local IPMS club. I have taken paper models to their annual contests a few times and the models have been very well received. For one of my paper models--my 1/16-scale Merlin 45--I took home a trophy. It seems like a friendly group of modelers.
