hello from Ohio
My name is John and I have been building models all my long life. I got interested in paper modelling about a year ago and am still learning the art. I look forward to interacting and perusing new techniques and models as I go forward.

Hello there, and welcome. You will soon see as you delve into this site how many different types of models there are out there, and how many different skill levels there are as well.
The great thing about this type of modeling is, if it's a downloaded kit, if you make a mistake, simply print the part, or an entire model again. Can't do that with plastic. Just remember to always enjoy what you do.

i in Hilliard just west of Columbus. I have wondered if there were clubs for paper modelling. I have been in clubs for plastic modelling before and saw amazing stuff. I still dont have the hang of paper modelling. Never seems to come out like I want. Like anything it takes time.

I will check with them. I was part of the group about 20 years ago. I am amazed at the all the articles and plans here. Too bad there is a limit on downloads as there are so many to choose from to give a try. I have started to look into the articles on how to actually do paper modelling. didn't know it could be so involved.
