Hello All

HI,

I am a mediocre skilled hobby fan (plastic and paper, but mostly paper lately) hoping to see the hobby community thrive and propser past this generation. (Very few young people are showing up at our local hobby stores)

Attached is a pic of my first custom paper model. Its kind of crude but at least it is some what original (and it is NOT a colonial viper!)

Mark

Not crude at all - nicely done with an aged and weathered finish.

You should think about linking up with your local school teachers - they eat up anything about aviation/space for the classroom. Build a prototype, then build a final display model for your collection and pass the prototype on to a teacher. The kids don't spend their time looking for flaws - they look at the essence. And, you'll be promoting both science and model building (or the ability to make things).

Nice meeting you Phil,

and Hi Janx,
I am happy to be here too!

A lot of activities here, wow, this is great!

And Yogi, yes, I can't wait to retire soon so I can actually pursue these things you suggested.....
