Timid 'Hi' from Virginia (US)
Yikes, you'd think writing a simple Meet&Greet thread would be easy. Maybe it is.
Hi everyone, I'm Tac. I'm certainly not the most (voluntarily) talkative person in any forum, but if I catch your reply then I'll try not to ignore you. I've recently begun re-attempting old interests and came across paper-craft printouts lying around; ended up finding this site in the ensuing Googling. All my crafting related interests usually revolve around two things: War-gaming or model railroads. Until recently, I've only afforded building virtual things in sandbox video-games. |

Hi Tac,
as luck would have it, paper modeling has become or is becoming one of the cornerstones of the table top gaming world, and also more and more railroad layouts are incorporating paper models. If there are any questions, do not hesitate to ask, and by all means peruse the rail section of our forum and download area for models and ideas Welcome "aboard" Rick

Well hello and welcome. Doesn't matter what you enjoy building, as long as you build something.
Search through this site to find all sorts of helpful ideas. Don't be afraid to ask questions, someone here will have an answer or direct in the right direction. |

Welcome to the group. You will find paper models to be a terrific source of scenery for model railroads, and even a source for DIY rolling stock. Most of the paper models will do for populating rail yards, and with a bit of effort, can even be made into real rolling stock. A couple of web sites you might check out are Wadsworth model Railroad and Scale Scenes. I'm not particularly into the gaming scene myself, but I am aware there are several sites for finding gaming props. Have fun, and don't be timid around here.
