we get snow down here also.big difference in NZ is there are very few houses with central heating or double glazing.at least when i lived in uk you could get warm in the house in winter

So you have the same like in Portugal, no central heating
But we should have here much more. But you are quite used to such "strange" conditions, so you can easy move to Poland and enjoy plenty of models
