Hello from Iowa!

Fantastic models! After years of plastic I am looking forward to some quality time with glue and my blade.
The level that card modeling has reached amazes me, I used to cut up my Brothers album covers to make a Spindrift or glue two paper plates together to make a Jupiter 2 again all of your work is ..FANTASTIC!

Oooooh! Stuff that burns. YOu have a great screen name. So, what's your gig? Are you a chemist or just someone who likes to blow stuff up?

I'm right there with ya!

Where are you from in Iowa? I grew up near Key West (outside of Dubuque).

I know nothing!

Thanks, I live in Marion, next to STILL flood damaged Cedar Rapids.
I'm a Microbiologist in the ethanol industry. And Ive been blowing things up since I was a kid. You don't want to know how well melted potassium nitrate and dextrose make card rockets fly-I might get a visit in the night from ......
Nice to be back here and I am looking forward to some serious card building.

Ah, Marion is a nice town. I have a few friends from college there still. I went to UNI in Cedar Falls. But, you are wrong. I DO want to know how well melted potassium nitrate and dextrose can make a rocket fly. That would be fun! Of course, with Offutt AFB so close by, they might not like that either.

What a cool profession! I used to use picric acid to make my rockets go BOOM! It's a bit difficult for "hobbyists" to come by the stuff these days.
