Hello all,

My name is Adrian Round. My first introduction to paper models was back in the mid-1970’s when I built two bird paper models (an owl and a kingfisher if memory serves me correct) for a neighbour. My focus shifted to RC models (planes, helicopters) and live steam but I have now decided to try my hand with paper again.

I am just starting a 1/24 Piper Cub from Schreiber-Bogan (Kit 689). I will share a picture once it is done.

Well hello and welcome. Seems there are a lot of us that built paper years ago, then drifted away, only to re-emerge back how ever many years later.
Well no matter what, you’ve certainly come to the right place to be amongst fellow like minded people.

I visited Victoria many years ago, nice city, and remember going to the Bengal Room in the Empress Hotel among other things like an open cart tour of the city.

I love your city been on vacation many times and now during winter spend many hours with Canadians from there who flee south to Palm Springs a popular USA destination for B.C. ers!!
