Greetings from Lisbon

Hello

All I can say is that I stumbled upon this paper modeling stuff a few months ago and now I'm completely hooked. It is fascinating to find so many good tips in this forum, so I decided to join.

Greetings to everyone

João

Hey, welcome! Always great to have more international members!

Is paper modeling popular in Portugal?

I do not think so... While I can find some sites/shops deticated to models in general, there is no mention to paper models, at least not these we find e.g. in this forum...

I was never fond of plastic models and alikes. With due respect, I think they are too simple to build, it is just a matter of applying glue . The real, biggest challenge is the painting.
Paper models are exactly the reverse, and that is perfect for me, because I'm skilled with my hands. All the inks and other stuff necessary to achieve good results with plastic models are expensive and take a lot of space...
