New and itching to get started
Thanks for the add.
Been a plastic modeler for centuries. My first paper model was probably in my early teens making airplanes out of corregated cardboard as i could not afford plastic. Now I'm amazed at what I'm seeing produced on the Internet and want to try paper models. Here's to paper cuts! |

Hi Harry! Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining. Before you dive in whole hog may I suggest a little reading - First Cuts - A Lounge and the Tips & Tricks subforums. Both are chock full of information to help get you on your way. It's not a requirement, after all it's a lot of reading. Just skim through the thread titles and pick the ones that interest you, there's a lot to be gleaned from even a cursory glance. We're glad you're here. Welcome aboard!

Yup...I think I need to read up on technique so I don't get frustrated. Also getting up to speed on software. Two models come to mind: 1. My 2015 Kawasaki Councours. No one makes it, so I will try my own. 2. Civil War Hunley, about 3 foot long with full interior detail. Still researching the details as they emerge. Exciting times for modelers. |
