Hi everyone and Hooah to all my fellow vets
Hi everyone,
My name is Daniel. I am currently 34 and a single father with custody of my 12 going on 21 year old daughter. I am a huge 1:6 scale military and military history collector. I am thrilled to be accepted into this community. I hope we can bridge a gap that has been lacking in the 1:6th scale market forever. Currently I am aware of only 1 place that makes 1:6 scale essentials as well as equipment etc , and that is Barbie. I am currently looking for cockpits that I can print and make as well as other things for my various figures. Once again thank you for welcoming me into this awesome community. Respectfully, Dan Duncan Houston, TX |

Hello Dan, welcome to the site.
One thing about paper models is that you can re-scale them. Going to 1:6 would require splitting the parts up into more pages, sometimes even making one part span more than one page, and rearranging the layout to get other parts to fit withing the maximum printable area of your printer. If you have a large format printer it would help somewhat.

When my son was about ten, he discovered my old, old, old GIJoes, and the super-cool stuff. He was not happy that the newer ones had molded stuff made of cheaper plastic. Time for Dad to step in. We made so much stuff. Unclaimed Freight had this wonderful wood veneer that was a dream to work with. And I learned to sew.
And we got Barbie stuff and repainted. The Harley was really cool We never had anything like this, though ... Piccolo museo della carta Ferrari - Karviná,Czech republic

12? (hahahahahahahahahahaha) you are in for a treat. I'd say it gets better, but...
Mine's 24 now. So, she did get better. Welcome to the forums! And best of luck for when your daughters, ummm, well, you know, that thing that happens starts happening. BTW, they make Mydol for teens. It's a good investment. So glad I'm a dude and didn't have to deal with that. |
