Please allow me to introduce myself ...

Hello, I'm Jacques from Belgium. I'm into model railroad and switched from styrene to paper because at the small scales I am modeling ( TT 1/120 and N 1/160 ) buildings walls made out of embossed styrene don't look realistic ( just my opinion here ) . I'm amazed by the quality of the models shown on this forum. All my paper models ( building and rolling stock ) are from scratch because I'm modeling the Belgian vicinal tramway circa 1930 and there is no commercial model available . I own a Silhouette Portrait cutting machine and I really like it.

Jacques

Welcome Jacques. Nice to have you here.
There's plenty of nice people willing to help in case you have any questions or need any advice with this paper world.
And of course do not hesitate to show us your works. We love a lot to see photos. Specially when they're of unique themes like yours.

Welcome Jacques. Although a lot of us do focus on commercially available kits, I hope the techniques will carry over to any subject. Cardmodelling itself definitely need more input in subjects like diorama, so please share your works with us as well.

Can't wait to see that tramway.

You're another fan of the Stones here?

No, you can't introduce yourself, you have to introduce some random person you encounter at the trolley stop.

Seriously, though, am looking forward to seeing your trolleys.
