Paper Model buildings

Hello,
For a long time I have done photography and this somehow leaded me to make 3D buildings of my own creation but inspired by the architecture of the cities I was visiting. I was also moving to different countries in Europe, doing my designer job for a marketing business I owned. This is how I came to paper modeling. My goal is to continue creating paper model buildings and houses and continue traveling to get the photos, textures and inspiration I need to recreate these models.

Welcome to the forum! I too came to paper modeling by the way of buildings, in my case for my kids model railroad. Can’t wait to see some of your builds.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining. As has already been said, if you have pictures of the paper models you have already built we'd love to see them.

Very nice Work!

Took a hiatus from the Site, dealing with the myriad of Issues that come up in everyday life; blown computers, daily aches & pains, the Desire to go Fishing.

But, my never ending Jones for Spaceflight, Architecture & tinkering have led me back to Card Modelling, where I hope to feed the Jones with some imaginary constructs, like the proposed NASA LOP-Gateway & Mars Transfer Vehicle, or tinkering with the ancient Japanese "art" of Okoshi-ezu.

Let's see how it goes!

Cheers!
Alan :-)
