We'll see how it goes, I am cutting a rather small Ladybug as we speak so that'll be a good testament for me and this thinkness of paper. Hopefully it all works out.

I think Don Boose's current commander at his home does animals. You might try to contact her via a PM to Don.

Hi all,
I finished the Ladybug and the cardstock was perfect. Much better than the 90lb I was trying to use. Even with it being small it seemed to work well for me. I'm pretty happy with it. Here's the finished product, minus the stand that it came with as I just didn't care too much for it. I do like the animals, will probably do another one before moving on to something else. Anyway, let me know what you think. Thank you!

Nice. I wonder if I could repaint it to the Japanese beetles that are destroying so many plants around here

The ladybug looks good.
You should color the cut edges of the cardstock to hide the white. It will make the finished model look much better. You can either try to match the color of the printed area or use a shade of grey.

I do like the idea of doing them grey rather than trying to match the color, that could save a ton if time. I'll have to try them both out. Thanks!
